Climate Joy is a small Bristol based organisation that exists to bring more creativity, joy and play into local and national climate action. The organisation was founded by Emma Geen and Rachel Moffat.
Both Emma and Rachel climate activists and creative practioneers. They became friends through co-writing the City of Bristol Just Transition Declaration.
Emma Geen is a published author, painter, researcher, and occasionally lectures or mentors in creative writing.
She specialises in disability climate activism. She was proud to win the Sustainability campaigner award in the 2026 inaugural Bristol Legends award.
